I first became interested in Web Development whilst studying a module in Graphic Design. It became apparent that I enjoyed the coding more than the design. On completion of my course, I took an apprenticeship as a Web Developer at Blue Flight Media, a design company based in Chelmsford.
With almost a year under my belt, my Director recommended that I work for a company called iDentity Creative. In the four years I spent working as a Web Developer here I built fully responsive websites in the top two CMS systems; WordPress and Joomla. Using these systems allowed me to build everything from e-commerce to blogs and event websites.
During my time at iDentity Creative I decided I wanted to see the world and try my hand at freelance work. I settled in a town called Waiuku which I had connections with through my rugby club and friends. This has been an experience of a lifetime as it has given me a whole new outlook on life.
